Anne has lived in Huntingdon for over 30 years and now feels part of the area although she is from Hull originally. Her career was as a Learning Disability Nurse and Anne spent 38 years with the NHS specialising in the care of children and their families. She currently works for Healthwatch Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. Anne has a wide range of interests and carries out a number of voluntary roles; always with a focus on people with learning disabilities.
She has been a Trustee of Huntingdon Mencap Society since 2003.
Born in Middlesbrough, he read Pure Chemistry at the University of Birmingham. Graduate trainee Ford Motor Company and obtained a Masters from Henley School of Management. Throughout his career Malcolm has been Production Manager with Mars Electronics and Production Director for Linx Printing Technologies. When they floated on the London Stock Exchange 22 Oct 1992, he entered the main board as a director, for 12 years, until bought by Danaher. Ran UK as general Manager, then Divisional Director of Spline/PPE until Corporate restructure with Cooper Industries formed Apex Tool Group. Purchase of Apex by Bain Capital resulted in further restructuring; he left in 2015.
Malcolm now owns Midland Precision Toolmakers, a small though rapidly growing company in Kings Norton, Birmingham
Married to Joanne, they have two daughters, the eldest is at Leeds University, in her final year, reading History. The younger daughter is at Manchester University reading Bio Chemistry.

Peter is recently retired from 40 plus years in public service.This is his first venture into the world of a trustee and he is looking to bring a perspective of pragmatic objectivity in the administration of Huntingdon Mencap organisation to support the delivery of frontline services.
Was born in Huntingdonshire and attended Brampton Primary and Hinchingbrooke Secondary School. She qualified as a solicitor in 2002 and is currently employed locally in the public sector. A keen runner Susan is looking forward to raising funds for Huntingdon Mencap and to making sure the wider community are aware of the fantastic services they provide.
